Black Friday will be a very different in 2024! I’ll be revealing what’s new and how to take advantage of the changes from last year.

I’ll reveal a BRAND NEW Amazon clearance page and some November freebies that you do not want to miss!

❌ 5 Ways Black Friday Is Different in 2024

Better Inventory Management (at last): Many retailers are fine-tuning their inventory strategies to avoid overstock issues and sell-out disappointment seen in previous years, focusing instead on offering targeted discounts on sought-after items.

The one exception is for the Amazon Lightning /Flash deals which always have extremely low stock.

Buy-Now, Pay-Later Promotions Everywhere: This year has seen a surge in retailers emphasizing flexible payment options, making it easier for shoppers to access deals via 'buy-now, pay-later' plans - and expect this trend to appear everywhere (even on Etsy).

Enhanced In-Store Experiences: Retailers are competing to draw foot traffic by offering in-store exclusive perks such as gift cards, flash sales, and community-oriented events, balancing out e-commerce dominance.

Kohls is a retailer that has these in-store events often!

A Complete Confusing Dilution of Black Friday Itself: The days of anyone camping out, lining up or setting alarms online for 12:01am on Black Friday are over. With the exception of Amazon, stores are placing a huge emphasis on the days leading up to Black Friday.

Even Walmart shares many of its best deals the Monday before Black Friday with other retailers focusing on the day of Thanksgiving itself for their online savings. I’ll of course be on YouTube to guide you on what sales you should care about from now until Cyber Monday.

Personalized Loyalty Rewards: Retailers are doubling down on loyalty programs, offering unique deals, early access, and rewards for their repeat customers during the Black Friday season.

As you can see Walmart is giving subscription members earlier access to their deals

I’d recommend signing up for Best Buy’s free reward program if you like tech, taking advantage of Amazon’s 30 Day Free Prime Membership Trial and even consider doing the same for Walmart+ if their deals are of interest to you.

👀 A trio of noteworthy November Freebies

Free Emergency Pizza From Domino’s: If you buy a qualifying online pizza order of $7.99 or more between now and January 19, 2025, you’ll score a FREE emergency pizza to redeem and enjoy at a later time as long as you are a rewards member.

👀 AMAZON IS TAKING ON TEMU

A lot of you may have heard of “Temu”, the discount app that has received plenty of (good and bad) press over the past 12 months. Well, Amazon has finally launched its own competitor called “Amazon Haul”.
