The holiday countdown is on and alongside the surplus of time you still have to score a deal, I wanted to examine the special holiday return policies in effect just in case you have buyer’s remorse following Black Friday.

If you’re looking for a potentially impactful gift idea on a budget, I have made my list of top gift ideas under $30.

🧾 Holiday Return Policies You NEED To Know!

📦 Amazon: Items that are Prime Eligible or Fulfilled by Amazon and shipped between Nov 1 to Dec 31 can be returned until Jan 31, 2025. Third-party items follow their quoted return policy.

📦 Best Buy: Most items purchased between October 27 and December 30 can be returned through January 13, 2025. Exceptions include items with third-party contracts, such as mobile phones.

📦 Costco: Maintains its standard return policy during the holidays. Most items can be returned at any time, except electronics, which must be returned within 90 days of purchase.

📦 JCPenney: Purchases made on or after October 15 are eligible for return or exchange with a receipt through January 15, 2025.

📦 Kohl's: Electronics purchased between November 1 and December 25 can be returned until January 31, 2025. Most other items have a standard 180-day return window.

📦 Macy's: Items purchased between October 2 and December 31 can be returned until January 31, 2025.

📦 Sam's Club: No special holiday return policy. Most items can be returned at any time; electronics and major appliances have a 90-day return window.

📦 Target: Electronics and entertainment items purchased between October 1 and December 25 have an extended return window through January 24 of the following year. Apple products purchased during this period can be returned until January 9.

📦 Walmart: For most purchases (except for electronics) made between October 1 and December 31, the return period extends until January 31, 2025. Items shipped from third parties fall under the return policy quoted at the time of purchase.

As promised, here is a quick roundup of all the toy sales currently running. These deals are limited-time offers, so if you see something you like, now is a great time to buy.

Target: You’ll see savings of up to 50% and also a further $10 reduction if you spend at least $50 on kids toys.

Walmart: Right now Walmart has a special page live with all of their big toy savings. There are even some pre-school toys at just $5!

Kohl’s: If you’re a Kohl’s shopper, they have some great savings right now on Toys. If you combine those discounts with their current “Customer Appreciation Event” you could save yourself some serious cash!

Amazon: Throughout the month of December, Amazon is running special lightning deals on toys every single day.

Costco/Sam’s Club: If you’re looking for toys, later this week and the week preceding Christmas are some of the best times to pick up clearance toys at warehouse clubs like Costco and Sam’s Club.

For example: This giant Disney plush which was selling for $18.99 in late October, is now on clearance for $9.97. That’s 50% OFF!

With all of that in mind, you’ll find reductions of up to 80% if you can wait until the days right after Christmas! But don’t worry — I’ll be covering this in a future video that will be uploaded on the channel December 26th!
