📱 An App To Access Products Locked Behind Glass

Are you tired of chasing down a sales associate to buy a face cream or razor blades locked away behind glass? If you shop at CVS, a new app could be your key - literally.

CVS is rolling out a new feature in its mobile app that allows customers to unlock locked merchandise cabinets on their own, aiming to reduce the frustration. While these cabinets help prevent theft, they often make shopping inconvenient, especially for everyday essentials.

Looking ahead, CVS plans to introduce a chatbot to assist with medication refills and order inquiries, making the app more functional for both shopping and healthcare needs.

🚘 140,000+ Cars Recalled For Safety Risks

This is one of the larger and more complicated recalls I’ve seen in a long time as it encompasses two different years of vehicles and several different issues.

  • Brake Issue:

    • Affects ~106,000 Toyota Tacoma trucks (2024-2025 models)

    • Rear brake hoses may deteriorate, leading to fluid leaks and potential brake failure

  • Seat Belt Issue:

    • Affects ~41,000 vehicles, including:

      • 2025 Toyota Camry

      • 2025 Lexus NX

      • 2024-2025 Lexus RX

    • Seat belts may not meet strength standards, increasing injury risk in crashes

The one downside is notifications will not be sent out until April but you can check your VIN on Toyota’s website. Both Toyota and Lexus dealers will provide repairs.
