Linda from Ohio writes: “Whenever I buy laundry detergent or dish soap, I cut the bottles open when they look empty. You’d be surprised how many more loads you can get from what’s stuck to the sides. Last month alone I stretched two bottles an extra two weeks, which really adds up.”

‘Flattop223’ Writes: “I don't know if you are aware of the deals they have at 32 degrees clothing store, but you should check it out... They have a lot of stuff that is up to 80% off and it is a brand I think is pretty good.”

❌ Do NOT Buy These Labor Day Items Yet!

Forget the so-called “Early Bird” Labor Day Sales. Wait just 1 week and anything on sale right now will drop even further into clearance pricing. Your patience will pay off for:

🛏️ Mattresses: 30–60% off plus free upgrades! Macy’s, Amazon and the direct websites for brands like Nectar, DreamCloud and Helix.

🧺 Major Appliances: Home Depot and Lowe’s will cut washers, dryers, and fridges by up to 35%. Best Buy is worth keeping an eye on as well.

🌞 Outdoor & Patio Gear: Grills, furniture, and umbrellas drop up to 60% as summer ends. Pick any store you like that sells these products and you’ll be treated!

🍳 Small Kitchen Appliances: Air fryers, coffee makers, and mixers marked down 20–40%. Amazon, warehouse clubs, Walmart and Best Buy will have the top deals.

🛋️ Furniture & Home Décor: Sofas, beds, and decor often 30–50% off to clear warehouse space. I always try to shop local when I can. Rewards will be rampant!

🛠 Tools & DIY Equipment: Power tools, lawn gear, and all sorts of crazy combo deals will mimic what we see Black Friday. Pick your favorite store based on tool brands.

💡 Michael R asks: "I'm in the market for a UHD 4K Blu Ray player. Preferably, Panasonic brand. Are there any deals out there? Some of the "best" models can be pricey.”

Hi Michael! Since this is more of a niche item the price drops are in frequent between now and the holidays. There is one deal I’m aware of on Amazon right now for a well-featured UHD 4K system and I expect another 2-3 deals during the holiday quarter.

💡 Dina P asks:  “I love the Ask Matt anything segment. I'm looking for an adjustable bed that won't break the bank.”

Hi Dina, I’m so happy you like this section that I’ll keep around based on your feedback and everyone else’s. My favorite of the decently priced adjustable bed models is this one from Lucid although I do expect it to drop slightly in price for Labor Day.

💡 Jeff W asks "what do you do with all of the snacks that you buy and try from Costco? I can't believe you're young family eats all of the treats you buy there! Do you give them out to family, friends, etc?”

Hi Jeff! Thank you for being a loyal enough of a viewer to even ask that question 🙂 By this point, my whole neighborhood knows when I shoot a new warehouse club video and I’ve been known to go door-to-door offering any untouched or individually wrapped food finds. I also always try to pick up extras to donate to local food banks.
