🍳 Small Kitchen Appliances: The just over one month of lead up time to Thanksgiving is jam-packed with promotions on Air fryers, coffee makers, pressure cookers and all-in-one devices. Between Prime Day, and the warehouse clubs, deals are everywhere!

💄 Beauty and Skincare Gift Sets: Holiday gift sets are hitting stores now and usually cost less than buying each product individually. Christmas branded bundles will all be on clearance by mid-December but selection will be very limited.

🕯️ Home Decor and Candles: Fall decor and scented candles are discounted before holiday merchandise takes over. Great time to make your home feel cozy before winter.

✈️ Hotel Deals and Flight Bookings: For any non Thanksgiving travel-related deals, now is a fantastic time to book a trip of any kind (even last minute) for a get-away over the course of the next 7.5 weeks.

⛱️ Outdoor Gear and Patio Furniture: By this point, nearly all outdoor furniture and grills are on clearance. If you have space to store it, this is the time to buy for next season.

🤖 Robot Vacuums and Floor Care: Brands like Roomba and Shark are all on sale for Prime Day almost straight through to Cyber Monday. If there’s a model you don’t see discounted for Prime Day, there will be a similar promotion from a competing brand in the weeks to come.

🛏️ Bedding and Linens: Flannel sheets, comforters, and blankets are marked down as temperatures drop. Prices are generally 10% lower on Black Friday if you can wait, but now is still an excellent time if you have any holiday hosting planned.

🛒 Amazon Home Security Products: Following all the Ring and Blink deals you’ll see on Prime Day, Amazon will shift all the savings on the brands it own to Warehouse Clubs, Home Depot, Best Buy and Lowe’s for the final two weeks of the month.

💡 Kimi Asks: “Now that the leaves are falling I need a really powerful leaf blower. It seems like a lot of the ones out there barely move a big pile of leaves. Do you have any recommendations?”

You’re right, Kimi…. most budget blowers move dust, not leaves. If you want something that can actually clear a driveway or a big backyard, look for models with 600+ CFM (cubic feet per minute). That’s the airflow that makes the difference between a toy and a serious tool and one of my favorites is this 700+CFM one from Greenworks (with now being a great time to buy)

💡 Carmen Asks “I have been waiting to purchase a new iPhone 15. Is renewed or refurbished the best way to go? Where would be the most reputable place to buy?:

Hi Carmen! Unless you specifically need an iPhone 15, I’d wait for the Black Friday deals on NEW iPhone 16 models (many of which will be subsidized with rebates and gift cards). Otherwise, Amazon’s Refurbished center is reliable and you’ll find iPhone 15 deals throughout the month with extended 90 day warranties and no questions asked returns available.

💡Tom Asks: “Love your youtube channel and I watch religiously! I am in the market for a Mac Mini. In the next six months when will probably be the best time to purchase? Black Friday? After Christmas?”

Tom, thank you for supporting me on YouTube and for being a newsletter subscriber too! Mac Mini deals are always at their lowest on Black Friday with a few models reduced on Cyber Monday too. Your best deals from a traditional retailer will be from either Best Buy or Amazon. (It’s currently $100 OFF at Best Buy right now for $499)

Not a lot of people know that Best Buy will actually price match certain online retailers, so if you find a better deal elsewhere that meets your budget, you can chat with Best Buy online and they will price match it for you.
