🚨 NEW Shopping Info You NEED To Know!
🎯 Score a $10 Credit at Target: Target is running this promotion where if you buy “Buy 3 select trash, paper & laundry items” you score a $10 Target GiftCard. (Ends March 21st)

Also, it is rumored Target’s “Circle Week” will be starting the week of March 22, where you’ll see up to 40% off spring essentials for Target Circle members.
🍕 Domino’s $9.99 Any Pizza Deal Is Back: Domino’s has revived its most popular deal: any pizza, any toppings, any crust for $9.99 when ordered online.

That includes large specialty pizzas, which are often $15+. The offer runs now through April 6.
💰 NEW AMAZON CREDITS: Here are two brand new opportunities to save some cash while shopping on Amazon this month!

Spend $40 on Select Toothpaste, Mouthwash and Soaps and Receive $10 OFF (Limited time only!)
Save $5 when you Buy $20 of Select Candy items (Just in time Easter.. however, I would still purchase at a warehouse club if you have a membership)
🥤 Panera Sip Club: $5/Month for 3 Months: Through March 31, Panera is offering new and returning subscribers Unlimited Sip Club for just $5/month for the first 3 months.

That gets you unlimited coffees, teas, charged lemonades, and fountain drinks. This perk presents some big value if you grab a beverage even a few times a week.
🎮 Dave & Buster’s: $60 for 60 Days of Unlimited Games: If you have kids / teens or need some Spring Break activity ideas, this aggressive new promotion gives you 60 days of unlimited play on most arcade games.

That’s a huge value compared to their usual $20 - $25 per visit unlimited play, which only lasts 1 hour. Just 2-3 visits with the pass can save you 50%.

⛽️ 8 Ways To Help Lower Your Fuel Costs
🗺️ Avoid Gas Stations Right Off the Highway: Stations near highway exits often charge more because travelers stop out of convenience. Driving a mile or two farther into town usually brings noticeably lower prices.
📱 Check Gas Prices Before You Drive to the Pump: I almost always open the GasBuddy or Waze app before filling up. Prices can vary by $0.30 or more within a few miles. That quick check can easily save $5 to $10 on a full tank.
⚙️ Check Your Tire Pressure: The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that under inflated tires can cost you about 3% in gas mileage. I try to check tire pressure once a month, especially when temperatures swing.
🏪 Warehouse Clubs Often Have the Cheapest Gas: Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s frequently sell fuel well below nearby stations. I regularly see prices $0.20 or more cheaper per gallon. If you already have a membership, this is one of the easiest ways to save.
📅 Try Filling Up Midweek: Gas prices tend to creep higher heading into the weekend. Tuesday and Wednesday are often among the lowest price days according to GasBuddy data. If you have flexibility, filling earlier in the week can help.
🛒 Use Grocery Store Fuel Rewards: Many grocery chains offer fuel points tied to their loyalty programs. Stores like Kroger or Safeway can knock $0.10 to $1.00 per gallon off depending on your points. If you are already shopping there, it is easy savings.
💵 Watch for Cash Price Discounts: Some independent gas stations charge less if you pay cash instead of credit. The difference is often $0.10 to $0.15 per gallon. If you pass one of these regularly, the savings add up.
📦 Remove Extra Weight From Your Vehicle: Carrying unnecessary items in your trunk reduces fuel efficiency.

Here are some recent subscriber submitted money-saving tips:
Bob from NE writes: “Veterans can shop through Exchange (Shop Army & Air Force Exchange Service) at Home Depot and will receive not only the 10% veteran discount but an additional smaller discount on most items but, most importantly, won't pay sales tax on those purchases. We recently purchased a new cooktop that we not only saved $82 of tax on but combined it with a credit card promo to save an extra 15% on top of all of it. In the end it saved us over $400. It offers tremendous value and is easy to sign up for.”
Susan from IN writes: “Matt this is for Brianna (from last week’s Ask The Deal Guy) who wanted Caraway cookware. I’m in indiana and our Habitat for Humanity Restore carries Caraway. Some new, some used. That’s where I bought mine with significant savings. Thank you.”
Michael writes (in response to last week’s streaming deals): “Howdy is a $2.99/month ad-free streaming service from Roku that offers a curated selection of popular, older movies and TV shows. It is designed to complement existing services, providing, for instance, "feel-good" content, and can be accessed directly on Roku devices, online at howdy.tv, or via the Roku mobile app.”

🕵️♂️ New Scams to Watch Out For in 2026
Fake Bank Alerts: You get a text saying your account is locked or flagged. I never click the link. I go straight to the bank’s app or call the number on my card.
AI Voice Impersonation: Someone calls sounding exactly like your grandchild or family member. We have an "emergency password” we’ve established that I would make that person verify before I believe anything.
Gift Card Payment Demands: If someone asks for payment by gift card, it’s a scam. I end the conversation immediately.
Fake Online Stores: Scammers build realistic websites with huge discounts. Sometimes they re-build a store you already shop with and email you about a sale. I only shop trusted retailers or verify new sites before entering payment info. NEVER use your debit card online.
Phishing Texts and Emails: You get a fake alert about a package or account issue. I never click links in messages I didn’t expect.
Public USB Charging Scams: Public phone chargers can steal your data. I carry my own charger or use a wall outlet. I’m also extra careful charging inside a rideshare.
Romance Scams: Someone builds an online relationship and starts asking for money. If I’ve never met them in person, I don’t send a dime. With one exception, my wife is someone I know in person, yet I’m still sometimes hesitant when she asks me for money.
Payment App Tricks: A stranger claims they sent me money by mistake and asks me to send it back. Sometimes the money is actually deposited to your account (before they recall it) to make matters more confusing. I don’t respond. I never move money for anyone I don’t know, especially unless I can contact them on my own in person.

💡 Frankie asks: “I'm needing to buy a new mattress. What are your thoughts on the hybrid mattresses (foam and coils) that are compressed and come in a box delivered right to the house? I'm looking at the Helix Midnight Mattress. And where and when would be the best time to buy one?”
Hi Frankie! Hybrid mattresses like the Helix Midnight are actually among the better mattress-in-a-box options because the coil layer adds support and airflow compared to all-foam models. Most brands also offer generous sleep trials which helps if you’re ordering online. The best prices usually appear around Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday, often directly through the brand’s website.
💡 Srinivas asks: “We are in market looking for a healthy version of air fryer made with non toxic material but is dishwasher safe. Any suggestions on best product and time to buy would be appreciated.”
Great to hear from you again Srinivas. If you want the safest materials, I recommend an air fryer with a glass cooking chamber instead of traditional non-stick coatings. The Ninja Crispi Glass Air Fryer is one of the better options because the food cooks inside a removable glass container that’s dishwasher safe and avoids the coated metal baskets used in many air fryers. The best prices show up around Prime Day and Black Friday with sporadic sales throughout the year from warehouse clubs, Best Buy and Amazon.
💡 Rick asks: “We're considering buying one of those Oura ring health trackers. Have you heard anything about them? Do you know who might be offering the best price for them currently?
Hi Rick! The Oura Ring is one of the more accurate sleep and recovery trackers I’ve seen, especially for heart rate and sleep data. Discounts are rare because Oura tightly controls pricing, so the best place to check is usually Oura’s website or retailers like Best Buy. If you’re patient, Prime Day and the holiday shopping season are when the first meaningful discounts sometimes appear.
